ECOPASS Activities

 Today ECOPASS is a certification body of management system specialised in environment. ECOPASS validates these procedures according to several reference systems:

Ÿ         Standard ISO 14001 (NF EN ISO 14001 [1996]: Environmental management systems. Specification and guidelines for its use),

Ÿ         The Regulation (EC) n°761/2001 of the European Parliament and the Council of the 19th of March 2001 permitting the voluntary participation of organisations in a Community environmental management and audit system (EMAS),

Ÿ         Standard OHSAS 18001 relating to Health & Safety in the workplace,

Ÿ         Standard ISO 9001 (2000) relating to Quality Management Systems of organisations,

Ÿ         Standard ISO 22000 relating to food safety management systems - Requirements for any organization in the food chain.

 ECOPASS is accredited for all countries by the French Accreditation Committee (COFRAC) for its certification activities in accordance with ISO 14001 and for ISO 9001, and is approved by the French Ministry of Ecology and Sustainable Development for the application of the EMAS European Regulation and the GHG (Greenhouse Gas) certification.

 Finally, a partnership has been implemented with various actors in the field of Sustainable Development, with the aim of offering external expertise for businesses wishing to validate their organisational structures, data and indicators, and communication tools.
