THE ECOPASS AUDIT TEAM

 The certification audit team, whose precise composition is defined following signature of the contract, is composed of an audit manager and eventually an expert, whose skills correspond to the specific activities audited. This team could also be capable of conducting the entirety of the audit in English if necessary and one of them speaks and reads the local language.

 The audit manager is the pilot of the certification audit. His role is to coordinate the audit and his missions include consulting the documents relating to the audited management system that are made available to him, conducting the audit according to the predefined schedule, coordinating the tasks and missions of the expert auditor, completing the audit report summary file, informing ECOPASS of any non-conformities as well as the list of people that he meets and of the documents consulted. ECOPASS will then draw up the audit report project, which will be transmitted to the candidate for validation prior to official distribution.

The audit manager represents ECOPASS and where necessary he may, in this capacity, gather information in terms of the expectations of the audited structure, including any complaints or contestations, concerning the management or the progress of the audit mission.

The expert auditor assists the audit manager for the duration of the mission and reports his observations and conclusions to him at each progress meeting.

 For certification renewal audits, it is one of the rules at ECOPASS to renew all or part of the audit team and, in particular, to provide a different audit manager.
