New tool for evaluating the performance of your management systemSince January 2005, ECOPASS uses a new tool when conducting its audits to evaluate the performance of the audited management systems. This indicator, presented as an overall grade, is the result of an overall Certification Grading process unique to ECOPASS.The implementation of this process as part of the audit remains optional and is subject to the consent of the company concerned. Nevertheless the decision to use it is particularly useful in terms of providing an overall indicator that enables efficient communication concerning the overall performance of the audited structure. By example the 9 criteria used for EMS taken into account when awarding the final mark are indicated below:Criterion I: % of internal personnel who have been made aware of the company’s environmental approach during the year Criterion II: % of internal personnel who have been made aware of the company’s environmental approach during the year (subcontractors, suppliers, service providers) Criterion III: External communication concerning the System Efficiency Audits Criterion IV: % of regulatory actions in the programme (agenda) aside from the development of the reference system Criterion V: External communication Criterion VI: % of corrective actions performed as a result of the internal audit, NC Files or others Criterion VII: Certification scope Sub-criterion VII - A: GeographySub-criterion VII - B: Elements not connected to the processSub-criterion VII - C: The activities linked to the process Criterion VIII: Remarks and non-conformities linked to the ECOPASS audit Criterion IX: Evaluation of performanceSub-criterion IX - A: Indicators Sub-criterion IX - B: Respect for deadlines and objectives (% of completion of the actions on the agenda)
