ECOPASS Organisation

ECOPASS has a flexible and reactive structure, and all its employees are specialists in Management systems in complementary domains. This organisation favours the capitalisation of distinct and specialised know-how. ECOPASS conducts its audits via a dedicated project team composed to make the most of this concentration of competences, which includes our network of auditors. Therefore ECOPASS can guarantee the methodologies implemented, the schedules and the resource management plan.

For the most part, the auditors come from a professional background in industry or research and they can simultaneously provide consultancy, regulatory supervision and/or training in environmental issues, health and safety and sustainable development in the many sectors of activity dealt with by ECOPASS.
Each auditor is qualified within the ECOPASS network according to a strict process and taking into account his previous training and experience. All the members of the ECOPASS Network undergo an annual update of their skills and a re-qualification procedure.
Each year a specific meeting is organised to encourage motivation throughout the network and to discuss any developments in the audit reference systems.

Since its creation ECOPASS also benefits from the perspective of an Ethics Committee representing all the interests connected with the certification and verification process, without the predominance of a single interest.
This Ethics Committee is composed of highly skilled people who have occupied positions of responsibility in their professional careers. ECOPASS is very dedicated to ensuring the irreproachable quality of this Committee, even if by its very nature, it must also be capable of evolving constantly.
The selection criteria for the members of this Committee ensure that the panel is representative of the various interests involved in the certification and verification process. The committee members are people who are capable of making pertinent judgements, at a strategic level, in relation to a management system.
